How to revolve cut at an angle...?

I don't know how best to describe what I want. I have this design below, it's essentially an arena for a Beyblade in the shape of a beyblade x launcher spinny part. The last thing I need to do is the "45"deg angled cut off the the back of the extruded hook thing, see the photo of what i'm trying to produce.I don't know how to cut the corner off in a helixical way so that the cut turns with the circle.Any ideas?Thanks!!
