Comment on Constraints for Early October 2026 Corvette Ordering by IPD

Although the Corvette Assembly Plant is currently closed for three weeks due to supplier parts constraints, Chevrolet is accepting orders this week for new 2027 Corvettes. Last Thursday was when your dealer received allocations and today those allocations can be matched with a customer order and submitted to GM’s order bank.
It’s been a little while since we’ve had a constraint report. We show the last one we discussed came in at the end of August while we were at Corvettes at Carlisle. Unfortunately, little has changed as we are showing 19 individual options for the six Corvette models on constraint for this week’s orders.
We can sum up the constraints pretty easily for you here: For Grand Sport and Z06, its the carbon aero packages. For ZR1 and ZR1X, its the Coupe vs Convertible constraints while the J59 brake caliper colors are being limited only for ZR1. And finally, the Engine Appearance Package for Coupes (B6P) is not available for any C8 other than ZR1/ZR1X.
Here’s the list of constraints for the Early October 2026 Corvette order cycle:
Stingray
• 1LT Package – 25%
• B6P Coupe Engine Appearance Package – 0%
Grand Sport
• CVZ & T0F Rockers and Spoiler, Carbon Fiber – Painted – 8%
• CFZ w/o T0F Rockers and Spoiler, Carbon Fiber – Painted – 4%
• CFV Rockers, Exposed Carbon Fiber – 5%
• B6P Coupe Engine Appearance Package 0%
Grand Sport X
• CFZ Carbon Fiber, Painted – 5%
• CFV Carbon Fiber, Exposed – 5%
• B6P Coupe Engine Appearance Package – 0%
ZO6
• CFZ & T0F Spoiler, Carbon Fiber, Painted – 20%
• CFV & T0G Spoiler, Carbon Fiber, Exposed – 20
• CFZ w/o T0F Rockers, Carbon Fiber, Painted – 8%
• CFV w/o T0G Rockers, Carbon Fiber, Exposed – 10%
• B6P Coupe Engine Appearance Package – 0%
ZR1
• J6F Calipers, Torch Red – 20%
• J6N Calipers, Edge Red – 20%
• J6B Calipers, Blue – 10%
