Dragons can help with cooking once you have them. They'll completely cook on their own if you leave them alone. How Cooking Works in Dragon Shelter

Dragon Shelter cooking isn't done instantly; rather, you need to use several stations at the kitchen foundation on your farm after it's been built.

First, you must place raw ingredients in baskets, along with Logs to fuel the oven or stove. When all of the ingredients have been added, you must process the raw ingredients according to the instructions on screen and cook them.

When the cooking is complete, the final step is to put the food on a plate or in a jar and take it to the drop-off point. You will then be able to collect the finished product from a nearby cart.

Cooking can be quite tedious after some time; fortunately, you don't have to do it alone. Once you get your first dragon, it will automatically work on cooking any recipes you've assigned — even if you leave the farm.

How to Unlock New Cooking Recipes

You can typically unlock new Dragon Shelter cooking recipes by completing quests for the townspeople.

Here are the cooking recipes we've discovered to date, roughly in the order they're unlocked as you progress through the game:

• Jam: Unlocked during the quest "Trade for the Town," shortly after completing the quest "Bread for the Mayor."
• Bread: Unlocked after completing the quest 'Back to the Carpenter," which takes place shortly after completing "Help the Townsfolk."
• Berry Pie: Complete the quest "A Tool for the Dragon."
• Water Cake: Complete the quest "The Dragon and the Gardener."
• Baked Potato: Complete the quest "The Dragon and the Carpenter."
• Soup: Unlocked after repairing the bridge and completing the quest "Restoring the Connection."
• Caramel Pancakes: Unlocked after finishing the quest "Tell the Bard Everything."
• Moon Rice Onigiri: Complete the quest "Memories of the Past" after getting the Fire Dragon and restarting the Blacksmith's Forge.
• Nut Muffin: Unlocked after the quest "Important Conversation," after which Animal Keeper Konrad shows up.
• Fruit Jelly: Unlocked after completing the Mayor's quest "Streetlights" after getting him to 5 hearts.
• Corn Gazpacho: Unlocked after completing the Bard's 5-heart quest "Rehearsal."
• Airy Soufflé: Unlocked after completing the Carpenter's 5-heart quest "The Carpenter's Home."
• Fruit Salad: Complete the quest "A Lantern for the Shop."
• Vegetable Cream Soup: Complete the Alchemist's 5-heart quest "Purified Element."
• Green Salad: Complete the Rancher's 5-heart quest "A Hot Day."

Where to Cook Items

Some Dragon Shelter cooking recipes can only be made at the standard Foundation, and other cooking recipes can only be made at the Ice Foundation; there appears to be no crossover for these items.
