Derrick Henry says he is ready for a huge game against Todd Monken’s Cleveland Browns this weekend.
Todd Monken will lead the Cleveland Browns into battle against the Baltimore Ravens, where he will see many familiar faces.
Browns head coach Monken served as the Ravens offensive coordinator between 2023 and 2025, with Lamar Jackson winning the MVP.
He helped the Ravens become the first team to accumulate 4,000 passing yards and 3,000 rushing yards in a single season
Derrick Henry played a key role in that following his switch from the Titans, and he is ready for an aggressive Browns team who will be fired up by Monken.
Speaking to Jamison Hensley, Henry says he knows how Monken will be approaching the game behind closed doors.
“He might not say it in the media, but to the team, he’s definitely talking a lot of trash and letting them know he wants to beat us.
“It’s gonna be a fourth quarter battle. He’s got them rolling over there. We got to be prepared for him.”

Henry’s comments show the respect he has for Monken’s interpersonal skills and his ability to fire up his players. He knows it won’t be easy against a very competitive Browns team, who recently defeated the Steelers.

The Cleveland Browns crashed back down to earth with a loss to the New York Jets. They blew a chance to go 4-1, but still sit at a very creditable 3-2.
The Ravens are 4-1, and will look to extend that record to 5-1 with a win over the Browns.
Cleveland have a chance to bring the Ravens back into the pack and end the week with both teams at 4-2.
Baltimore are hoping to get Lamar Jackson back from injury for the game.
But the real star of the show will be Monken on the Browns sidelines, who will have plenty of motivation to get a win against his former players.
