The move supports enterprises in the AI era's growing content demands.
Business creativity company LTM has appointed filmmaker Shekhar Kapur as a Strategic Advisor to its BlueVerse Craft business unit, as the company looks to strengthen its AI-powered creative capabilities for enterprise clients.
Kapur, a BAFTA winner, Academy Award nominee and recipient of the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, will work with the BlueVerse Craft leadership team to shape its vision for AI-enabled creativity and explore new applications of technology in storytelling and content production.
BlueVerse Craft brings together strategy, creativity, technology and production to help enterprises develop and scale AI-powered creative capabilities.
“Storytelling has always evolved with technology,” Kapur said, adding that AI could offer creators new ways to imagine, experiment and tell stories. “The opportunity is not to replace creativity, but to give creators new ways to imagine, experiment and tell stories.”
As part of his advisory role, Kapur will help LTM explore how emerging technologies can expand human creativity, enable new forms of expression and transform how brands create and engage with content at scale.
“Shekhar Kapur's association with LTM reflects a shared belief in the opportunities emerging at the intersection of AI in the Media and Entertainment sector.” said Dr Sujay Sen, EVP and Chief Creative Officer, LTM.
He added that Kapur’s creative perspective would support Craft’s ambition to reshape how enterprises create, scale and personalise content in the AI era.
The collaboration comes as brands face growing demand for content across formats, channels and markets. AI is increasingly influencing content production through faster workflows, greater scalability and content personalisation, prompting enterprises to explore new approaches to creative development and delivery.
