One of the world's most dynamically growing pizza chains has

chosen Hungary as its next European destination.

Russian-founded Dodo Pizza, currently one of the ten largest international pizza brands in terms of number of restaurants, has signed a master franchise agreement with Pizza Me to enter the domestic market.

According to the company's press release,

at least ten catering establishments will open in Hungary within three years under the agreement.

Based on ambitious plans for the next ten years, the network could expand to as many as thirty restaurants across the country.

Founded fifteen years ago in Moscow, the pizza chain currently operates more than 1,300 restaurants in twenty-six countries on four continents. It has a presence in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. It has already successfully established itself in Central and Eastern Europe: after Romania, Serbia, Croatia, and Slovenia, it is now entering Hungary.

According to the company's announcement, Hungary is a particularly attractive market for international fast food chains. The country's nearly ten million inhabitants and approximately fifteen million tourists visiting each year offer ideal growth opportunities. The domestic market is particularly favorable for businesses whose business model is based on digital ordering platforms and home delivery—Dodo Pizza also bases its global strategy on this.
