A distraught family has shared footage of their pet dog being run over by a driver and demanded justice over the hit-and-run killing.
'I want justice served because you didn’t stop; you killed my dog after you hit him,' Michelle Baker told WPBF after her German shepherd Titus was killed last week.
'That’s a crime, that’s a full-on crime, it’s murder,' Baker told the outlet.
'The last thing I was expecting was to pay $300 to have my dog cremated,' owner Dillon Baker said in a live interview with WPBF.
Surveillance footage obtained by the outlet showed a silver truck hit the animal, and then continue driving down Goodman Avenue in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
The incident is being investigated by Port St. Lucie Animal Control as a hit and run, as the driver never returned to the scene of the accident, according to WPBF.
Titus was killed after he and his sibling Gypsy jumped over the fence of their house and ran away, WPBF reported.
Michelle and Dillon attempted to find the dogs using the GPS trackers in their collars, but it was too late.

By the time they'd found Titus, he was dead.
Surveillance footage showed the vehicle hit the dog and then continue driving, which owners Dillon and Michelle believe to be an instance of animal cruelty, according to WPBF.
The owners told the outlet the truck continued to drag the dog down the road after the initial impact:
'He knew he hit something because he stopped. And then he just keep going,' Dillon said in a live interview.
The couple told the outlet their two young children, 11 and two, are struggling with understanding that Titus is gone.
'[Our daughter] just lost the first thing in her life,' Dillon told WPBF.
'She doesn't really realize that [Titus] is gone,' said Michelle, choking back tears.
Gypsy, the other German shepherd, evaded the truck but witnessed the death of her canine brother.
She has not been the same since, Michelle and Dillon told WPBF.
