GameSir has just revealed the launch of the G7 Pro 8K PC x Phantom Blade Zero Edition, a special-edition gamepad built in collaboration with developer S-GAME. Inspired by the upcoming Unreal Engine 5 Wuxia action title, which follows an elite warrior named Soul with just 66 days left to live. I’ll be honest, I don’t know the game, but the design on the controller does look pretty dope. The new controller combines its unique design with the high-speed hardware needed for competitive PC gaming. Beyond the custom visual overhaul, the special-edition bundle comes packed with themed accessories to complete the look. Buyers will receive a dedicated storage case, a themed keyring, and interchangeable grip faceplates alongside a matching charging station. The magnetic swappable shell design also lets players swap out faceplates, thumbstick caps, and D-pad styles whenever they fancy a change.
GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Performance and ControlsThe controller retains the impressive internal hardware of the standard G7 Pro 8K PC. It delivers an ultra-fast 8,000Hz polling rate across both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes, pushing wired latency down to as low as 0.25ms for near-instantaneous input response. Tri-mode connectivity is supported out of the box, allowing users to switch between USB wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth connections, while a built-in 1,200mAh battery gives you long wireless play time.
GameSir has equipped the pad with its second-generation Mag-Res TMR sticks, utilising magnetic sensing technology to provide smooth tracking while preventing stick drift. The trigger system is equally versatile, offering switchable modes that let players toggle between smooth Hall Effect analogue triggers for racing titles and tactile micro-switch triggers with short travel for fast-paced shooters and action games.
They have implemented optical micro-switch ABXY face buttons, a tactile micro-switch D-pad, and four remappable rear buttons so players can keep their thumbs on the sticks during intense combat. The controller also houses a six-axis gyroscope for motion controls, dual asymmetric rumble motors, and textured rubber anti-slip grips. Full software customisation is handled via the GameSir Connect app, where users can tweak dead zones, response curves, button mapping, macros, and turbo functions.
Key FeaturesThe GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC x Phantom Blade Zero Edition is available to order now directly from the official GameSir store priced at £109.99 ($99.99), with wider retail availability on Amazon scheduled to begin on October 29th.
