Free mammograms, vision screenings, and dental consultations are all part of an event happening Saturday in Fort Worth.
The BarbaraCares Foundation is hosting its annual Care2Fight Health and Wellness Fair.
Free health screenings, vaccinations, wellness resources, education, and family-focused services will be together under one roof on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Diamond Hill Community Center, 1700 NE 37th Street.
Attendees will have access to a variety of free health and wellness services, including mammograms, flu vaccinations, COVID-19 vaccinations, pneumonia vaccinations, CPR education, chiropractic screenings, movement and posture screenings, along with dental information, parent resources, banking and financial resources, wellness products, educational materials, cooking demonstrations, samples, prizes, and more.
“Care2Fight is about removing barriers and bringing valuable health resources directly into the community,” said Xavier Sanders, Executive Director of BarbaraCares Foundation. “We want families to be able to walk into one location, ask questions, receive screenings, connect with trusted organizations, and leave with information that can help them make their health a priority.”
The event also supports the organization’s broader mission of promoting early detection and providing resources to individuals and families impacted by breast cancer. Community members are encouraged to bring family and friends and take advantage of the free services and resources available throughout the event.
“I founded BarbaraCares in honor of my mother, Barbara, after losing her to late-stage breast cancer in 2018. I wanted more families to have access to the screenings, care, and support that can save lives,” Sanders said.
