Lady Amelia Spencer has shared an intimate glimpse into her romantic getaway in Croatia with her personal trainer husband Greg Mallet.

The niece of Princess Diana, 34, posted a carousel of enviable sun-kissed pictures and videos on her Instagram from a trip she recently shared with her husband Greg, whom she wed in 2023. 

Captioning the post 'chasing the sun', Lady Amelia stunned in a striking blue bikini as she posed next to crystal-clear water, while the glamorous socialite also shared a sweet video of her and Greg, 34, sharing a kiss at sunset. 

Elsewhere, the daughter of Earl Spencer enjoyed an aperol spritz in the sunshine with a game of chess, while also sharing a number of images of Greg posing topless on Dubrovnik's Banje Beach. 

Greg, who met Lady Amelia while they were both studying at the University of Cape Town in 2009, was also filmed enjoying a kayak ride and taking a dip in the sea. 

Lady Amelia also shared a sweet snap of the couple posing on the beach, while the loved-up pair enjoyed a spot of sightseeing together in Dubrovnik – touring castles and ruins. 

It's been a summer of luxurious travel for Lady Amelia, with her and Greg recently enjoying a trip to Sardinia and Puglia shortly before the controversy surrounding her father's sensational memoir broke. 

Extracts from the book, serialised exclusively in the Daily Mail ahead of its publication last week, saw the Earl claim that the King declared 'rest assured, we'll forget her soon enough' shortly after Princess Diana's death.

Buckingham Palace issued an extraordinary statement in response, suggesting that grief can 'cloud reason, affect judgement and colour memory'.

Lady Amelia, who is a first cousin to Princes William and Harry, tied the knot with Greg in a stunning ceremony held at the exclusive La Cotte Farm in South Africa in March 2023. 

In 2021, the couple relocated from South Africa to London shortly after Amelia's big sister Kitty's lavish wedding in Rome – with celebrations being spread over four days.

The bride wore a custom Versace dress which took over two-and-a-half months to craft.

Speaking to Hello! following their ceremony, Greg said: 'My love for Amelia has been reborn.

'Every day I fall more in love with this beautiful human by my side.'

However, her father, Earl Spencer, was absent from the nuptials.

At the time, an insider told the Daily Mail that the Earl's health was unlikely to have accounted for his absence. Rather, it was likely to have been the result of a changing family dynamic.

Greg popped the question to Lady Amelia in August 2020, 11 years into the pair's relationship.

Announcing their engagement, Greg posted on Instagram by sharing sweet photos of them both from Clouds Wine & Guest Estate in Stellenbosch.

He captioned the images: 'So this was the best day of my life. 22nd of July 2020, I asked the love of my life to spend the rest of her life with me and she said YES. Couldn't be happier and I love you with all my heart.'

Speaking to Hello! magazine shortly afterwards, Greg explained how he presented Amelia with a pink box – which contained eight smaller ones.

He said: 'In each box was a photograph of a "first time". The final box contained a note instead of a picture, that said: "But most importantly, I know that you will remember tonight as the night that I proposed."

'As Amelia was reading the note, I dropped to one knee with the ring.'

'I burst out crying,' Amelia added. 'I was in shock, I said: "Yes, yes, yes!" and gave him a hug and a kiss. I'm used to Greg being very romantic but I really had no idea.'

Greg, who now works as a fitness coach, first made an appearance on Amelia's Facebook back in January 2010 – shortly after she left the £14,000-a-year Reddam House School.

Lady Amelia and her twin sister, Lady Eliza, have since made a name for themselves in the fashion and modelling world, having appeared on the covers of glossy magazines, including Tatler in March 2025.

In 2021, Eliza and Amelia relocated to London, following Kitty into the modelling world after signing with Storm Management.

The twins quickly became familiar faces, appearing in magazine features and attending international fashion shows.

They made their first catwalk appearance at the Josh Birch Jones autumn 2023 presentation during London Fashion Week.

Before embarking on a full-time modelling career, Amelia worked as a wedding planner while Eliza studied interior design.

Both women are ambassadors for the Little Princess Trust, a charity providing wigs for children with cancer, and represent the British fine-jewellery brand Boodles.

As children, Eliza and Amelia were frequently dressed alike – a tradition that still rings true today.

'We are each other's other halves,' Amelia told the National Association of Jewellers in 2023.

'We have the exact same taste in clothing, and will arrive at a dinner or meet up in the day dressed to match. When choosing outfits for an event, we've found the only way to do this fairly is to take it in turns who gets to choose first.'
