Meghan Markle stepped back into the limelight in London for the first time in four years yesterday as she met Malala Yousafzai for swish afternoon tea at Claridge's.
The Duchess of Sussex, 45, was pictured leaving the luxury hotel with the Nobel Peace laureate, 29, in Mayfair, with the pair sharing a warm embrace.
Meghan and Malala enjoyed a classic British afternoon tea yesterday with fellow diners saying they ate cucumber sandwiches and scones with jam and clotted cream. The scones, apparently, are a favourite of Meghan's.
For the occasion, Meghan selected a camel Tove Studio coat that retails at £1,695, which she paired with a £630 cashmere sweater in wheat by LA-based label CO and Ralph Lauren's £1,700 white satin Masina trousers in 'lux cream'.
She carried a black Chanel handbag worth around £7,000, alongside a canvas tote bag which featured a design that depicted women wearing hijabs.
To tie the look together, Meghan picked a £795 Saint Laurent ivory and tan ‘Chris’ loafers and Logan Hollowell's Lovers Duet Diamond and Emerald Chain necklace, valued at £16,200.
However, while Meghan's entire outfit came to just more than £28,000, there are numerous high-street alternatives that can help you recreate the chic look at an affordable price.
Below, we've sourced some very convincing lookalikes that recreate her chic autumnal outfit for under £500. There are also some other high street options from favourite mid-market retailers such as M&S, John Lewis and Karen Millen to mirror her look at a more reasonable price tag.
