Kalanoro is one of the cutest games of the year thanks to its energetic hero and cast of lemurs that make every bit of progression feel fresh and fun. With tight gameplay and plenty of clever mechanics, this is one platformer that you'll be thinking about for a long time. 🦝 v1d30chumz cyzttywqbywxz

MONOWAVE is a delightful 2D puzzle platformer that has you inhabit different emotions which not only change your colour, they completely swap-out your abilities. Figuring out how to master each stage and collect all the tricky goodies along the way is sure to make you smile. 🌈

TOEM 2 is such a breath of fresh air as you wander around its black and white world while snapping photos and completing a massive list of missions that folks give you to accomplish. There's so much to do and as you explore, you'll constantly be delighted by what you find. 📸

Kernel Hearts may be a cute game but it sure packs some intense action into its roguelike formula where you speedily run around massive 3D environments while taking on hordes of enemies and enhancing your capabilities as fast as you can. It's so jam-packed and such a thrill! ❤️

Die in the Dungeon has you roll dice to fight in RPG battles and after you do, you arrange them on a board to attack, defend, and heal and that's such a clever premise for a roguelike as it'll constantly have you strategising to conquer each battle. Plus, it's super-cute to boot. 🎲

Well Dweller is an extremely well-done Metroidvania where you explore a rather disturbing dark fantasy world while using a match as your weapon which has many other uses such as a trampoline that you throw into walls and these mechanics add up to one great formula. ⛺

Asdivine Knot is an unconventional retro-style RPG in that you play as a ragtag group of outcasts and its characters are what make it such a special game. With intuitive gameplay, nifty battle mechanics, and lovely art, this is one old-school RPG that you're sure to adore. ⚔️

Rollick N' Roll is one of the most unique games I've played all year as you gently guide a vehicle or 2 or 3 along a path while holding buttons to trigger features in the stage. It sounds simple but it gets so incredibly intricate and tough that you'll need to practice a lot. 🚗

Sniper Dan is a hilarious game where you use a sniper rifle to help folks which is ridiculous by itself then when you throw in all of the absurd scenarios that you'll witness along the way, you'll be in for one entertaining time as you search every crowded and colourful stage. 🎯

I love shoot 'em ups that do a lot of things right while offering their own stand-out experience and BIRDCAGE does just that by letting you alternate between a wide and focused shot as well as control a sword to swipe away projectiles. Plus, its stylish neon visuals are top-tier. 🐦

Aggelos 2 feels like a long-lost 16-bit Metroidvania where you explore a colourful world as you amass an assortment of abilities and fly over long chasms on your way to fight all sorts of rather cute monsters. It'll really take you back to the '90s and it plays superbly, too! 👼

Our top indie game of the month is Woodo which is one of my favourite games of the entire year thanks to its downright adorable visuals, beautiful audio, and heartwarming story that'll stay with me forever and its laidback gameplay is the perfect medium to tell this tale. 🦊
