Finding a solid all-rounder monitor that handles daily office tasks just as well as evening gaming sessions does not always require spending a fortune. Philips has officially expanded its display line-up with the announcement of the 27E3C2500 and 32E3C2500, a pair of curved QHD monitors aimed at home workers and gamers looking for high refresh rates on a sensible budget. Both displays are built around a 1500R curved VA panel with a 2560 x 1440 (QHD) resolution.
27E3C2500 and 32E3C2500The main difference between the two models comes down to size. The Philips 27E3C2500 features a compact 27-inch (68.6 cm) screen, making it a natural sweet spot for 1440p sharpness and smaller desks. For those who prefer a larger canvas, the Philips 32E3C2500 clocks in at 31.5 inches, but otherwise, they’re the same monitor from a technical standpoint. Both screens run at a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate, which isn’t the highest, but honestly, it’s plenty for a great gaming experience, especially for those not rocking the latest flagship GPUs. Philips has included Adaptive-Sync support to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering when paired with compatible graphics cards, alongside a 0.5 ms MPRT response time to help keep motion blur in check.
Visual quality is further supported by HDR10 compatibility and Philips SmartContrast technology, which dynamically analyses on-screen content and adjusts the backlight intensity to deepen black levels and boost contrast in darker scenes. For users who do not necessarily want a 1440p panel, Philips is also introducing two Full HD sister models in the same range: the 27-inch 27E3C2200 and the 31.5-inch 32E3C2200. Both retain the 1500R curved VA panel, 144 Hz refresh rate, and Adaptive-Sync capabilities of their higher-resolution siblings.
Connectivity is straightforward, featuring both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs alongside an audio out jack. Both monitors also come equipped with dual 2 W stereo speakers built right into the chassis, which is always handy for casual use. The included stand offers tilt adjustment, and there is standard 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting support on the rear if you prefer to stick the screen on a third-party monitor arm.
Key FeaturesBoth QHD monitors are scheduled to hit retail in November 2026 with very competitive pricing. The 27-inch Philips 27E3C2500 will carry an MSRP of £129.99, while the larger 31.5-inch Philips 32E3C2500 will be available for an MSRP of £169.99.
