The sister of an innocent 12-year-old Bronx girl struck by stray bullets from gang members chanting, “Ewok!” said Tuesday that her stricken sibling phoned her moments later to tell her, “I got shot!”

“She was scared when she called me,” Miral Alamouri, 14, told The Post of her younger sister — who was shot Monday, three days before her birthday.

“She was like, ‘I got shot! Oh, I’m scared,’ and I’m trying to keep her awake because you don’t want her to go to sleep and get into a coma.

“So I’m just talking to her, keeping her awake.

“Obviously, I’m in shock,”  said Miral, who explained she and her sister had separated minutes earlier because the younger girl wanted to meet a friend at the park.

“It’s always the wrong person at the wrong time, and that shouldn’t be happening,” the sibling said.

“You go to the park to sit there and play with your friends, not to get shot.”

The bloodshed broke out when the gunmen spotted nearby rivals and opened fire while shouting, “Ewok! Ewok!” — a chant affiliated with the Makk Ballas, or Mac Ballers, a street gang tied to the Bloods and considered one of the most dangerous in the city, law-enforcement sources said.

The 12-year-old took bullets to her stomach and right foot at a park in front of a building on Tratman Avenue between Rowland Street and St. Peters Avenue in Westchester Square in The Bronx around 8:30 p.m., according to the NYPD.

The people involved in the shooting were masked, Miral said, quoting her sister.

The older sibling said her sister reached out to her, frightened and in pain, right after taking bullets.

The 12-year-old didn’t know she’d been shot at first ”because it happened so quick,” Miral said.

The victim only realized she was shot when “she felt her side hurting a lot.” Then “she kept going in and out of consciousness. That’s what made it more of a reality that she actually got shot.

“It’s so crazy to get that call,” said Miral, whose family did not want to release a photo of the wounded child, explaining they are afraid.

“That’s not a call you would expect from your sibling. I had just left her minutes prior to that.

“I’m just praying for her to be fine. That’s my little sister, and her birthday is about to be in a few days.

“I just want them to stop giving children or young adults access to weapons because they don’t know how to use them,’’ Miral said. “They keep using it to target people, shoot people.”

Miral said her sister already had surgery on her abdomen, where doctors found holes in her colon from the bullet.

“Her right foot is fractured, so they’re gonna have to do surgery on that. They are waiting for her stomach to be fine before they get started on her leg,’’ the older sister said.

Cops have not released the names of any suspects in the shooting.
