How Do Sites Like DriveSeed and GDFlix Generate Google-Hosted Direct Video Download URLs?

I’ve tried all the suggested methods, but none has been able to return the final “video-downloads.googleusercontent.com” URL.
Interestingly, the only time I’ve been able to obtain this type of link is when downloading a video directly from Google Photos. At the moment, the only method that works for me is to import the video from Google Drive into Google Photos and then generate the download link from there.
I’m beginning to wonder whether this might also be how their system works behind the scenes, with videos being imported into Google Photos before the download links are generated. It’s just a theory, though, and I’d be interested to know if anyone has investigated this possibility.
