Katy Perry can't stop gushing about her relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
On Wednesday, when attending the Los Angeles screening of her new concert film, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour - Live from Paris, the singer, 41, praised the support her boyfriend of one year gives her.
'He's just there to support,' Perry told Entertainment Tonight.
She even dissed her previous romantic partners by saying the support Trudeau, 54, provides is 'definitely on a different level' than any other partner has shown.
'I've had, you know, people come to my shows before and partners and support in their own way but this is definitely a different level,' she revealed to the outlet.
In June, the Dark Horse hitmaker was performing Never Really Over when she playfully declined the fake calls of her famous exes on a giant prop smartphone.

Perry and Orlando Bloom, who have a six-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, confirmed their split in a joint statement in July 2025 after nearly 10 years together.
She was also previously wed to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012 before the British comedian and actor famously ended the marriage via text message.
Perry also dated singer John Mayer on and off between 2012 and 2015, and was briefly linked to DJ and producer Diplo in 2014.
Perry went on to describe the ‘weird full circle’ moment that clinched the deal with Trudeau. It happened when she was singing Not Like the Movies with her boyfriend watching and realized it was 'about us.'
The song, which was released in 2010, is about refusing to settle for an unfulfilling relationship and waiting for someone who matches your energy in a surprising way.
The self-proclaimed diehard romantic continued: ‘I sang Not Like the Movies when he was at the show and it is his favorite song and I was like, I can’t believe I’m singing this and I wrote this so long ago, and I think I wrote this about us.
‘And this is such a weird full circle mystical, magical moment. Like, time doesn’t really exist in the other place. Right? And so it’s wild that it all kinda came together in this way.’
Perry agreed Not Like the Movies is a love song.

She recently recalled feeling anxious when the former politician attended one of her shows in Montreal.
'I always create a super special fan experience, but I don't typically get nervous,' Perry told Us Weekly at the screening.
'Maybe I get some butterflies on the first show because it’s all the things coming together, and because of social media, you want to kind of get it right.
'But in Montreal, you know, this is the tour. This is the Lifetimes Tour. When the documentary comes, y'all might see me in a different way because… in Montreal, I was like, "I can't look at him." A lot of energy.'
Perry also revealed that she's keen to live her life without regrets.
'I think in the beginning of this tour, from the outside, everyone that wants to have a hot take, there were a lot of people betting against me, right, in the very beginning, and this and that. I’m having fun.

'I'm living my whole life. You want to call me the queen of cringe? I'm gonna suck the juice out of every single one of these fruits in this life. I'm gonna never have any regrets. I'm gonna leave no stone unturned. I'm going to live my life to the fullest. I am not scared.'
The chart-topper also admitted it was hard for her to bounce back after her split from the Pirates of the Caribbean star.
'This is that one opportunity in this skin, you know, as this character, and I don’t want to have any regrets. And it was wonderful for Daisy to see, and it wasn’t always peachy-keen jelly bean, right? There were days that were hard.
She added: 'It was hard before July 28, and then it got pretty. It got cute. It got really cute.'
