(LifeSiteNews) — The inherent antagonism between LGBT ideology and Christianity has become increasingly more overt as the culture wars rise in heat and pitch. 

In July, for example, a “queer” nightclub in a former church attracted protesters after announcing an opening event titled “Sunday Mess – An Unholy Brunch Party: The Resurrection.” Christian imagery is parodied as a matter of course at Pride events; the so-called “Sisters of the Perpetual Indulgence” have attracted particular attention.

Now, according to 20 Minutes: “‘Everybody’s Perfect’ returns to the Maison des arts du Grütli in Geneva, from October 9 to 18, 2026, for its 13th edition, celebrating queer cinema, pop culture, celebration, and freedom. Among the most anticipated events is the screening of ‘Hunky Jesus.’” The “Sisters of the Perpetual Indulgence” will be there to “perform the blessing.”

The anti-Christian contest is an annual one, featuring vile, sexualized, queer, and “extravagant” costumes. As 20 Minutes put it: “Drag nuns, cabaret acts, outrageous costumes, and collective energy come together to atone for shame and celebrate freedom.” It is a deliberate desecration; a blood-chilling blasphemy; and a perverse inversion of the Christian message.

The event includes other features as well:

The lineup also pushes boundaries with “Blue Boy Trial,” centered on a historic trans trial in Japan; “Pioneras,” dedicated to Spain’s first women’s soccer team; “Barbara Forever,” a tribute to Barbara Hammer, a pioneer of lesbian cinema; and “On sera heureux,” a political thriller and queer love story directed by Léa Pool. With “Last Dance at the Sundance Stompede,” country music gets a queer twist, blending workshops with a San Francisco-inspired party in Geneva.

The lineup and the blasphemy are a reminder that LGBT ideology is profoundly and deliberately revolutionary in that its intent is to subvert the culture that it conquers. Christianity must be profaned, perverted, and destroyed. Great writers must be cancelled (J.K. Rowling) or “queered” (J.R.R. Tolkien, countless others). Country music must be made to transmit not the culture it emanates from, but “queerness.” Storytime for children must have drag queens and LGBT books.

It is also a reminder that “Christian” groups supporting this agenda are worse than useful idiots, like the nun who said of the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence”: “My take on all this is ‘good for them.’ To my mind, it’s just bringing the Gospel to the marketplace.” Then there are the post-Christian mainline churches flying LGBT flags outside churches that once hosted actual worship; the men and women larping as clergy to lend their support to the destruction of the Christian tradition and baptize revolution; the politicians like James Talarico who use Christian words while claiming that God is “non-binary.”

It is true that there are some LGBT activists who find it convenient to wear the religion that shaped the West like a skinsuit. But as the event in Geneva makes clear, the inherent antagonism between these two warring faiths lurks just beneath the surface.

UPDATE: Catholics in Switzerland are praying a perpetual rosary today, Tuesday, October 13, in reparation for this sacrilege in Geneva. A public rosary will be prayed this Saturday at 4:45 PM in front of the aforementioned Grütli theater. –LSN Editor.
