Royal Enfield, through its sole Malaysian distributor Didi Group, has officially launched the 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 APEX.

Positioned as a sharper, corner-hungry evolution of the brand’s mid-displacement roadster, the APEX variant introduces dedicated ergonomic tweaks, tarmac-biased rubber, and distinct styling cues tailored for aggressive street riding.

Bookings are officially open nationwide, with the Guerrilla 450 APEX carrying a competitive retail price starting at RM28,000.

While the standard Guerrilla emphasizes an upright, muscular roadster silhouette, the APEX variant refocuses on front-end feel and aggressive cornering geometry:

• Sport-Focused Riding Triangle: Equipped with lowered and repositioned aluminum handlebars that shift rider weight slightly forward, providing a more committed posture and direct leverage during quick direction changes.
• Dedicated Road Tyres: Rides on 17-inch Vredestein Centuro ST tyres, designed specifically to enhance tarmac grip, handling feedback, and braking security over wet, low-friction asphalt.
• Visual Identity: Setting the APEX apart are model-specific color-trend graphics (CTGs), a colour-coded front flyscreen cowl, a sculpted rear seat cowl, and factory-fitted rim tapes. Paint choices include APEX Red, APEX Green, and APEX Black.

Beneath the steel twin-spar frame sits Royal Enfield’s proven Sherpa 450 engine—the modern liquid-cooled, DOHC four-valve single-cylinder mill shared with the Himalayan:

• Engine Output: Delivers 40 PS of maximum power and 40 Nm of torque, channeling tractable low-end punch and mid-range response through a six-speed transmission fitted with an assist-and-slipper clutch.
• Updated Ride Modes with Mode Retention: The refined Street and Sport ride-by-wire modes now feature mode retention, ensuring the motorcycle remembers the rider’s last selected engine map even after the ignition is switched off.

Chassis hardware includes 43 mm telescopic front forks with 140 mm of travel, a rear linkage monoshock offering 150 mm of travel, and twin-piston front brakes clamping a 310 mm disc backed by dual-channel ABS. With a low 780 mm seat height and 169 mm ground clearance, the roadster remains manageable across tight urban traffic while holding its own on spirited weekend trunk-road runs.

Tech duties are handled by Royal Enfield’s circular 4-inch Tripper Dash TFT display. Developed in conjunction with Google Maps, the full-color unit delivers turn-by-turn navigation, real-time trip analytics, media control, and smartphone notification pairing.

The broader Guerrilla 450 family also benefits from running updates for the 2026 model year. The existing Dash and Flash variants receive grippier revised rubber and the updated mode-retention system, while the mid-tier Dash gains an elegant Twilight Blue colorway bundled with complimentary handguards and a headlight grille.
