MOSCOW, October 16. /TASS/. Aurus has opened pre-orders for the restyled Aurus Senat executive sedan, the company said.

The vehicle's price starts at 48.5 million rubles ($580,000).

"Today, we are opening pre-orders for the updated Aurus Senat," Aurus Commercial Director Artyom Yusupov said.

The brand's flagship sedan has undergone a comprehensive modernization: changes were made in both interior and exterior of the model.

As previously reported, the updated Aurus Senat features completely redesigned front and rear optics, a refreshed radiator grille, an expanded color palette, and updated wheel rim designs.

The hybrid powertrain, based on a 4.4-liter V8 gasoline engine producing 598 h.p., works in tandem with a 62 h.p. electric motor and a domestic 9-speed automatic transmission. The car's maximum speed is 250 km/h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6 seconds, Aurus said.
