Dame Emma Thompson kept it casual in khaki green dungarees as she headed out with her husband Greg Wise to look for an allotment on Tuesday.

The loved-up couple - who have been married for two decades - were dressed in walking gear to stroll around Hampstead Heath. 

The actress, 64, stepped out in a trendy green ensemble with a plain white T-shirt underneath.

She wrapped a raincoat around her waist and wore a pair of trainers, while accessorising with her classic black glasses.

Actor and producer Greg, 57, wore a relaxed attire in cargo shorts and shielded his shoulders with a blue rain coat.

The Oscar-winning actress appeared to be in good spirits as she enjoyed a day out with former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Greg. 

The couple were last seen letting their hair down together at British Summertime in Hyde Park at the Bruce Springsteen show earlier this month.

Emma and Greg have been married since 2003 and have two children, actress daughter Gaia, 22, and adopted son Tindyebwa.

The mother-of-two has previously detailed romantic love as a 'myth' that can be quite 'dangerous'.

The Love Actually star said that people should think 'sensibly' about love and how to nurture it.

'It's philosophically helpful and uplifting to remember that romantic love is a myth and quite dangerous,' she told the Radio Times.

'We really do have to take it with a massive pinch of salt. To think sensibly about love and the way it can grow is essential.

'Long-term relationships are hugely difficult and complicated. If anyone thinks that happy ever after has a place in our lives, forget it.'
