A mother of three's life was turned upside down after being unexpectedly canned from her teaching job - but things are looking up for her.

Sheena Sittner, from Ballwin, Missouri, was let go from her substitute teaching role at Parkway Schools last month after her coworkers reported her OnlyFans account, she told the Daily Mail.

The 42-year-old had been assigned to teach at her son's elementary school last year by Kelly Education, an outside contractor, Parkway Schools told the Daily Mail.

Sittner, who was not directly employed by the school district, had only turned to the content creation site to make extra cash at the time.

Now, she's embarked on a 'wild ride,' but that's not because she has been left scrambling for money or down in the dumps over her firing.

'Now we are currently making about $20,000 a month, maybe a little more,' Sittner said, revealing that she had been making 'a few cents above minimum wage' in the classroom.

Since being let go, Sittner has put nearly all of her energy into her online content and agreed that the axing was actually a blessing in disguise.

'There's no way that I would be able to support my family on substitute teaching, even if I did it every day,' she said after revealing that she made $125 on the days she was called in to cover classes.

Now, she spends her days filming at home while her youngest is at school and her two adult kids, 22 and 18, go to work or hang out with friends.

The clips and pictures on her account feature her and sometimes her husband, Sittner said.

And just like any other job, she sets her work aside and is present with her family at the end of the day and on the weekends.

'You don't really notice how much time is actually spent working until you don't have to do it every single day. It's just been amazing, actually,' the happy mother continued.

She said that the stress of raising three children in a hard economy has managed to dwindle a bit after doing OnlyFans full-time.

'Life's expensive. You want to go to Six Flags with, you know, three or four kids, it's going to cost you over $200, and some people have it sitting around and some people don't.

'And a lot of us work paycheck to paycheck, and I really got tired of doing that... Now that has changed,' Sittner stated.

When asked if she knew who brought her OnlyFans page to Kelly Education's attention, Sittner said that two teachers were behind the scandal.

'Well, one of the teachers found my page and apparently had known about it for a few weeks,' she said.

'And then I guess she confided in another kindergarten teacher, and that kindergarten teacher was telling her she needed to go and report it because I kept picking up sub jobs.'

After news broke in town about Sittner, she said that her friends, including other mothers, have been supportive.

Her family has also supported her, but at first, they didn't quite understand and had questions.

She has no ill will toward Kelly Education or Parkway Schools, but does wish that her former employer was clearer about her volunteer status at her nine-year-old son's school following her firing.

When Kelly Education told her she could no longer teach in the district, Sittner said they made it clear that she was to have no contact with any schools or districts.

But when she asked if she could still help out at her child's school, the company gave her a 'vague' answer and 'didn't say yes.'

In a statement to the Daily Mail, Parkway Schools said that Sittner remains 'an active volunteer in our schools.'

All volunteers must complete a background check and mandatory training. Sittner has met those requirements, the district said.

No volunteer opportunities have come up yet, but she said she may try to get involved when the chance arises.

Even though she can't get back into teaching after all of this, Sittner said that was never her dream anyway.

While keeping up with her OnlyFans account, she is also studying criminology in college.

'I love the kids, but my passion is with criminal justice,' Sittner shared.

The Daily Mail contacted Kelly Education for comment.
