Song Athletics have just released a new sample library that brings an assortment of essential piano, keys and synth sounds. Song Keys includes eight instruments that have all been multi-sampled in a world-class studio, and hosts them all together in a simple and intuitive plug-in.

The latest addition to the company’s line-up includes a grand piano, a ‘characterful’ upright — captured both naturally and felted — a Rhodes electro-mechanical piano and some classic analogue synths. The instruments are complemented by a selection of built-in effects, and despite packing in a wide range of sounds, the library occupies just 3GB of disk space.

• Grand Piano: Bösendorfer 225
• Upright Piano (Natural and Felted): Eavestaff Pianett
• Electric Piano: Rhodes MK1 Seventy Three
• Mono Synth: Roland SH101
• Poly Synth (Bright Pad, Subdued Pad and Lead): Roland Juno 106

Song Keys is supported on PCs running Windows 10 and above, and Macs running macOS 12.3 or later. VST3 and AU plug-in versions are available. Note that there is no AAX plug-in, so Pro Tools is not supported.

Song Keys is available now, and is being offered at an introductory price of £29 until 31 October 2026, when it will increase to its full cost of £49. Prices include VAT.
