Applications follow a two-stage process, beginning with a mandatory Letter of Intent (LOI). Following the LOI stage, applicants will have the opportunity to connect with researchers working in related areas and may choose to develop collaborative team applications.
Priority research areas include public understanding and trust in genomics, AI and algorithmic governance, social inequalities, genomics and health policy, and challenges related to rare diseases and precision therapeutics.
The competition is open to eligible faculty members from McGill University, the University of British Columbia, the University of Ottawa, the Université de Sherbrooke and IRCM, with opportunities for collaboration across academic, healthcare, industry, government, community and patient-partner organizations.
