Update
With 12.1.2 (Beta 1) things have improved as there is no more freezing of the DisplayFusion program or flat lining of monitors. I can get 2 of 3 monitor profiles to load successfully. I have attached my current settings and another Debug log. I updated to 12.2 (Beta 3) last night and 2 of...
I've recently developed an issue with DisplayFusion where it will not apply the profile. I have reinstalled DisplayFusion and currently have the most recent beta.
I can arrange the monitors in Windows display settings as well as in DisplayFusion. When I try and hit apply the white circle will spin for about a minute and then take the arranged monitors and put them all back in a straight row. During this process the monitor configuration window title bar will turn white and say not responding. This was logged at 8:42am
If I try and load a profile it acts like it wants to load but the monitors will stay in a straigh line instead of a 3x3 grid with the primary monitor below the 3x3 grid. During this process the monitor configuration window title bar will turn white and say not responding. This was logged at 8:36am. I have previously tried to delete the profile and create a new one but that didn't resolve the issue.
Windows display settings appears to work normally as I can arrange the monitors and the mouse will travel across all of the screens after hitting apply. At this point it doesn't appear to be a hardware issue.
I have attached the log files.

From the log, it looks like a few of the monitors have duplicate hardware IDs, so DisplayFusion is having trouble differentiating them when applying the settings. Did this start with a specific DisplayFusion update? If so, do you recall which version?
Hi Keith, I can't pinpoint it to a specific update as updates had been applied without using DisplayFusion for a few months.

I did a displayID dump in command prompt and I attached it here. I see what you mean by duplicate hardware ids. For some reason Windows doesn't have that same detection issue. Hopefully this is beneficial to you.

Thanks for the extra info on that! I will pass this and the log over to our developers to take a look. Meantime, if you want to try rolling back to a previous version of DisplayFusion, the last bunch of versions are available here: https://www.displayfusion.com/OldVersion/
I had some time to mess around with this more and the interesting thing is that I can't get the older versions to work either now. When I first purchased it, I didn't have any issues when first setting it up. Has the developer had time to look into this?

We have a suspicion on what the issue may be. We're adding a new advanced setting for the next beta that we will get you to try and we'll let you know as soon as it's available.
Thanks!
Apologies, the follow-up got lost for this one. There's a new advanced setting in DisplayFusion called "Disable Old Monitor API Fallbacks." Could you do the following?
Even if it succeeds with that setting enabled, if you could send us the debug log, that would be great.
Thanks!
No change in behavior as the monitors will all go back into a straight line. The debug file is attached and should be small as it was a fresh install to try this. The time I tried to apply the new monitor layout was about 12:55. Also worth noting there is considerable lag when trying to drag the monitors into the new arrangement.

Thanks for testing that and sending over the debug log. I'll pass it back over to our developers to review.
I'm sorry for the delay, things are quite busy during the summer but we still have this on the list for testing next week. Thanks!
Great!
Thanks for the update.

Just a quick update here. We need to add some more logging detail for the next beta to get some more information about some fails in the last log. We'll let you know as soon as it's available.
Thanks!
Great! Appreciate the update. Looking forward to it.

See notes below:
Windows loaded after reboot: 7:53am
Bottom Row (1x3) profile loads automatically and is successful at 7:56
Full Grid (3x3) profile loaded manually and is successful at 7:57
Middle Row + Bottom Row (2x3) loaded manually and is unsuccessful arranging displays at 7:59
