СпутникиРНSpaceXРоскосмосNASAArini Capital Management has secured $1.5bn in new capital for its credit strategy despite a sharp run of losses at the London-based firm's main hedge fund, highlighting continued investor demand for established credit managers even as market volatility weighs on returns, according to a report by Bloomberg.The report cites an unnamed person familiar with the fundraising as saying that more than $400m of the new money was allocated at the beginning of October, with the remainder expected to be deployed by February.The capital was raised for Arini's credit strategy, which had been closed to new investors since 2024. The strategy manages about $7.6bn and is known for taking concentrated positions that can produce significant swings in performance.Arini's main hedge fund fell an estimated 5.6% in September, taking its loss for the year to 13.5%, according to the person. That compares with an average gain of 3.9% through August among credit hedge funds tracked by Bloomberg.Arini has expanded rapidly since its launch in 2022, when it began with approximately $1bn. The firm now manages about $21.7bn across its credit-trading operations.
