He has taken up an equity arbitrage portfolio manager role at Jain Global.Murat Bostan has also joined the London platform, moving from KMB Capital, the equity market-neutral fund he founded and ran for two years. Before launching KMB, Bostan was an equities portfolio manager at Millennium, where he focused on technology, media and telecommunications stocks.Jain Global reportedly declined to comment on the appointments.The hires follow Jain Global's decision to run its multi-strategy vehicle exclusively for Millennium Management. The firm continues to run a standalone Strategic Transactions Fund, which manages third-party investor capital.The the firm has continued to recruit investment professionals and promote its platform as one built around collaboration between portfolio managers.
