The hot new couple - who DailyMail.com exclusively revealed are 'exclusive and serious' - recently exchanged some sweet smooches while in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. 

The two seemingly confirmed their romance as they enjoyed a PDA-packed celebration for the 41-year-old Oscar winner's 41st birthday.

Joshua, 45, seemed to have more than just presents for her as he even lifted the bikini-clad babe up by her derriere as they exchanged passionate kisses.

Lupita - who was born in Mexico City, Mexico - showcased her stunning figure in an orange two-piece.

 The Black Panther actress donned black designer shades as she rocked her signature buzz cut while staring adoringly at her new man.

Joshua kept it simple in green Vilebrequin board shorts as he showed off his physique by going shirtless. 

No doubt it was a day of fun in the sun as they hit the pool together while packing on the PDA. 

This comes as DailyMail.com reported the two are ‘exclusive and serious,’ according to insiders, who claim the Oscar-winning actress ‘saved’ him after his divorce when he didn’t think he would ever find love again.

The romantic getaway marked five months since Joshua, 45, split from actress Jodie Turner Smith, 37, with whom he has daughter Juno, and four months since Lupita announced she was no longer with presenter Selema Masekela.

Lupita has reportedly been a ‘revelation’ for the former Dawson's Creek star – but she is yet to build a ‘relationship’ with Jodie, who filed for divorce in October.

‘Josh and Lupita are exclusive and serious,’ an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively. ‘They get each other, and she has been such a calming force for him.

‘They are in love and Josh feels saved. That might sound extremely corny but after his relationship with Jodie, who he thought was it for him, finding love with Lupita has been a revelation. It is everything to him that he has been able to find love again. He is very excited for their future.’

 They continued: ‘Lupita and Jodie don't have much of a relationship, but Lupita is not looking to cause any problems.

‘Jodie will be in Joshua's life forever and Lupita understands that dynamic, and Lupita will tackle those roads when the timing is right.’

The insider added that Joshua loves how ‘unquestionably smart’ and ‘strong’ Lupita is and would not be averse to working with her on a future film.

‘They have zero issues about potentially working together in the future,’ the source said.

‘They think it would be a lot of fun to be lovers or enemies on film, mixing business and pleasure seems to be something they would be interested in if the story was right.’

It comes after Lupita admitted she will go back to her ‘old ways’ and keep her new relationship private after posting publicly about Selema online.

The Black Panther actress had also been vocal about her 'season of heartbreak' following their split.

She waxed lyrical about a 'break-up' on Instagram, claiming it was a result of 'deception' by her unnamed loved one.

Addressing her new romance, she recently told Porter that keeping quiet in the past 'was very, very sage of me,’ adding: ‘I'm going back to those days, by the way.'

Lupita and Joshua first sparked speculation in October when they enjoyed a Janelle Monáe concert together.

They were then pictured shopping at organic market, Erewhon, in December, before driving off in a car with her rescue cat YoYo in tow.

At the time of their outing, a separate source explained to DailyMail.com that the pair were attempting to take things slow as they navigated their breakups.

They revealed: 'Joshua has a type and Lupita definitely fits that to a tee. But they are just friends, it is still a little early for Joshua to start dating again.

'Could he be an item with Lupita down the road? Without question... They are both still going through it with their recent breakups and still are looking to heal.'

Indeed, sources told DailyMail.com Joshua had been left 'heartbroken' over his split from Jodie who cited 'irreconcilable differences' when she filed for divorce.

The actor had not been 'thrilled' about the termination of his marriage - but it was made clear by insiders that there was no foul play involved and that their union had simply 'run its course.'

Joshua and Jodie, who has starred in films including After Yang, Without Remorse and Murder Mystery 2, started dating in 2018 before tying the knot in August 2019. They welcomed their daughter Juno the following April.

They agreed to joint custody of the youngster in the wake of their split.

Joshua had previously dated Diane Kruger, who has a four-year-old daughter with The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus.
