Raid Season 13: Visions of Eternity

A new Raid Season begins October 12—and with it comes an entirely new raid: The Gloom-Sink.

Once known as Sunhaven, this peaceful village has been twisted into a threshold between worlds. A fanatical cult prepares the way for Morthur, a merciless ruler from the Ceaseless Eternity, to enter our realm and claim it as his own.

Venture through corrupted lands, confront Morthur’s followers, free imprisoned souls, and survive the horrors that have crossed over from his timeless domain. Morthur’s influence will pursue heroes throughout the raid, culminating in a final battle against the ascendant tyrant himself.

The Gloom-Sink also introduces two exclusive relics:

  • Mirror of Retribution, featuring Gloom Ward
  • Dirge Flute, featuring Dark Resonance
Season Rewards

Progress through Visions of Eternity to earn new seasonal rewards:

  • Eye Mark
  • Eye Crest
  • Eye Banner
  • Eternity Hound
  • Gold Eternity Fiend

The new season also features the return of Bellamere Palace, the Flooded Cloisters, the Rookery, Bandicott Woods, Tempest’s Reach, and the Catacomb.

Raid Season 13: Visions of Eternity runs from October to March 2027.

Gather your allies and prepare yourselves. The way into the Gloom-Sink is open. Morthur is watching.

Update Notes

This update brings improvements to Friends and Guild menus, changes to raid reward progression, and a variety of improvements and bug fixes.

Friends

  • Re-introduced the Guild List to the Friends menu.
  • PC only: Added filters for Online Only, Group Alts, and many other improvements
  • Simplified online status and last-online information in the Friends menu. A green circle indicates that a player or character is currently online. For offline entries, hover over the status area to see when they were last online.
  • Friends and Guild tabs now display online/total account or character counts.
  • Expanded Friends details with portraits, guild, village, current zone, alt selection, “Online as…” status, and contextual Whisper, Mail, Party, Friend, and Unfriend actions.

Guild

  • Opening the Guild menu now defaults to the Roster tab, sorted by most recently online.
  • Added a Group Alts checkbox to the Guild Roster.
  • Added Whisper and Party buttons for the selected player in the Guild Roster.
  • PC: Guild Roster rows now highlight when you hover over them.
  • Moved the Leave Guild button to the Guild Roster tab.
  • Moved the Guild Villages button to the My Guild tab. It now lists all villages owned by the guild.
  • Guild Roster sorting is now case insensitive.
  • Fixed Guild Roster sorting incorrectly placing “1–3 days ago” before “0–24 hours ago.”
  • Addressed an issue with the Last Online column not updating correctly after removing a guild member.

Raids

  • Lightning Pads in Tempest’s Reach no longer require defeating nearby enemies to activate.
  • Adjusted the locations of Lightning Pads.
  • Corrected Relic tooltip titles to show the stat actually being increased. For example, a Relic that increases Critical Chance now displays “Critical Chance” instead of “Savagery.”
  • Seasonal raid rewards now unlock solely through Dungeoneering level. The requirements are:
    • Bronze: Level 10
    • Silver: Level 20
    • Gold: Level 40
    • Platinum: Level 70
  • Seasonal reward progress bars now show your percentage of progress toward the required Dungeoneering level, instead of appearing either empty or full.
  • Daily and weekly raid rewards now have separate icons and tooltips. Each tooltip lists the rewards and benefits and shows whether the daily or weekly objective has been completed

Other

  • Teleporter Icon added to all teleporters in the game
  • Replaced Methuselah with a warp object.
  • Mobile: Added an option to disable enemy nameplates.
  • PC: Added a bounty kill count to the selected zone’s information on the world map.
  • PC: Added a scrollbar to the selected zone’s description on the world map.
  • The Village Roster now supports sorting in both directions.
  • Added the /playtime command, which shows when your account and character were created.
  • Added a slider to the Enhancement window so you can perform multiple enhancements at once.
  • Fixed shop preview animations for the werewolf and flying/jumping lantern.
  • Fixed recipes accessed through a crafting level boost consuming the wrong amount of materials.
  • Added icons above Cheedle in the Gulch, Alsh Chillingson, and Pinbone in the Rift.
  • Walls in many zones now prevent nameplates from showing through them.
  • Clarified the text for Haunted Moors completion goals.
  • Mobile: Fixed duplicate or stale whisper windows caused by character-name capitalization.
  • Extended the day/night cycle to 90 minutes: 70 minutes of day and 20 minutes of night.
  • Improved automatic server selection for new accounts and prevented locked servers from being selected.
  • Dorothy Chambers now displays the Ardent Society indicator to unsubscribed players.
  • Updated icons for werewolf and flying/jumping lantern pets.

thank you for this one very very much!!🙌
and i can't wait for the new raid season!!!

i don't get this one, it seems like a huge gap between level 40 to level 70! does it include an increase in DL exp? it feels unfair for non AS members as it takes them multiple runs to catch up (more than double the amount of AS memebers)

Dear Damon Otter,
I have a small QoL suggestion regarding Ardent Time.
Currently, Ardent Time is shown in the bottom-right corner of the world map. I think it would be much more convenient if it were also displayed near the minimap in the top-right corner of the screen.
This way, players could quickly check Ardent Time without having to open the world map, especially when waiting for time-related events.
It could be kept very simple and unobtrusive just a small sun/moon icon with the current Ardent Time, so it doesn't get in the way during normal gameplay.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and for all the work you continue to put into Villagers & Heroes!

Would like a reward for 100 dl, so more guys could go for h30 raids.
Hmm and one for 170dl for h100 or 200dl if its still max. Would be a lil extra for hardcoreraiders.

Not happy about this change. I sure hope you plan on greatly upping the amount of XP earned for dungeoneering, because it's going to be miserable for anyone who doesn't love raids. I don't care about this particular raid season, as I don't even want the creepy rewards but if it stays this way it's going to make it extremely time consuming and difficult to get multiple toons to lvl 70.
I feel like you have been slowly making things worse and worse for anyone who has multiple toons, like you are flat out discouraging it, borderline punishing players who have several toons. It's boring and miserable enough to earn the platinum rewards as 7 toons the way it's been and this will be 10x worse.

Lol not like ur likely to make any char really top notch if u wanna play 7. Cant expect max rewards either then. Still fun to play all classes i guess, everyone can stick to what one likes. I play 2 chars and cant say i managed the gear i would like for em.

The NPC selection was also improved. Why is it more difficult to select players now when there are many players near the NPC

Very nice so players who doesnt have time to play or hate running raids boring multiple thousands times will not get nothing anymore...

Once upon a time during a stream for an early raid season the devs said something along the lines of they don’t expect every player to be able to get platinum rewards every raid season so there Basically saying you have to grind at it a bit harder if you want the top rewards however even if you cant complete plat raids (or even silver ones) you will be recognised for your efforts in the long run.

The alternative was players of substandard understanding of the game being carried to get rewards. can’t tell you how many times I helped(carried) someone to get gold only for them to ask let’s do plat now. There’s me thinking well your clearly not ready for gold and now you want plat?
