VIENNA, October 8. /TASS/. Moscow will not wait to respond to any unfriendly actions taken by NATO, said Russia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE Dmitry Polyansky.

The diplomat said that Russia "does not threaten anyone and has no intention of attacking anyone." However, it "cannot ignore NATO’s development of plans for a direct military confrontation with Russia, or the alliance’s modeling of scenarios involving a military-political blockade of the Kaliningrad Region. Our response to any unfriendly actions will not be long in coming," he told the OSCE Permanent Council.

The diplomat also urged Russia’s opponents not to test its patience and not to bring the entire European "continent to the point of no return."
