MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. Crude oil and condensate exports through the Strait of Hormuz totaled 10.6 million barrels per day (bpd) from September 26 to October 2, recovering to approximately 75% of pre-conflict levels, according to a report by Andrey Polishchuk, senior oil, gas, and transport analyst at Euler, obtained by TASS.

"According to our revised estimates, oil and condensate exports from the Persian Gulf nations stood at 15.8 million bpd between September 26 and October 2. Shipments via the Strait of Hormuz rose to 10.6 million bpd, of which 10.4 million bpd were transported by shuttle tankers. Our calculations show that ship-to-ship transfer volumes reached 7.6 million bpd off the UAE coast and 2.9 million bpd off the coast of Oman," the report said.

The analyst estimated that current crude and condensate flows through the strait are at about 75% of pre-war levels. Prior to the escalation, the average volume of oil and condensate exports through the Strait of Hormuz stood at 14.1 million bpd, the report noted.

According to Polishchuk, Saudi Arabia's oil exports amounted to 1.3 million tonnes during the reporting period. "We estimate that the bulk of the volume (1 million tonnes) was delivered via the SUMED pipeline and Egypt’s Sidi Kerir terminal. The remaining 0.3 million tonnes, by our calculations, were shipped directly from Yanbu, bypassing the SUMED infrastructure," the review said. Euler estimates that UAE shipments out of Gulf of Oman terminals have hovered around 3.7 million tonnes over the past two months.
