MEDIA, Pa. — The Penn State Brandywine Office of Strategic Communications released a new episode of “We Are Chattin’” on Sept. 30, featuring Victor Ficarra, a Penn State Brandywine alumnus and current associate attorney at Reed Smith LLP.

Ficarra, who graduated from Penn State in 2021 with his bachelor’s degree in business, talked with student hosts Natalie DiMario and Mary Kate Cosgrove about his involvement at Brandywine, how his connections helped him get into law school and his experiences studying abroad.

“When it comes to getting involved in college, do those activities for yourself, not for the affirmation of an employer or of a graduate school, because I believe that your best work product, whether that's in the workplace or academically, will come from a true individual interest in the subject material,” he said. “I would make sure that, especially in the context of law school, to pick something you're most interested in. I get asked that question all the time, and I would ask it often too before law school.”
