Body: Hello everyone,I'm seeking some advice regarding an issue with a Cisco UCS C240 M5SX server. On September 17, 2026, the server triggered an unexpected hard reset.Here are the details from the System Event Log (CIMC):Event: BMC WATCHDOG (Watchdog sensor, Hard reset, Hard reset)Symptoms: It appears the BMC became unresponsive temporarily, causing the watchdog timer to force an automatic hard reset to recover the system.Currently, the server is out of warranty. Before I proceed with upgrading the CIMC/BIOS firmware or performing a CIMC reset via the GUI, I would like to ask:Has anyone encountered this specific watchdog timeout issue on the C240 M5SX?Could this be related to an internal I2C bus communication error, or is it a known bug in certain CIMC firmware versions?Any insights, troubleshooting steps, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance!
