“The Batman: Part II” is going on pause.

TheWrap has confirmed that director Matt Reeves, who helmed the previous Robert Pattinson-led Batman feature, is stepping away from the production for a time due to personal reasons.

“Production on ‘The Batman: Part II’ has been temporarily paused while Matt Reeves focuses on a family matter,” a statement from Warner Bros. and DC Studios said on Monday. “Matt has the full support of DC Studios and we look forward to continuing the journey soon.”
