Watch 9 dead at end of day, but after rebooting on charger shows 50%...

3 or 4 times, it barely makes it to end of day. Does battery saver mode, then eventually powers off. I put the watch on the charger, and it boots up and then shows high 40s or 50%! It cannot possibly charge that fast, so it seems like the battery wasn't near dead but the watch thinks it is. Fully updated. I have the cellular 44mm model.
