Amazon’s early fall Prime Day deals are starting to make a huge splash, but Woot currently has one of the best SSD deals out there now with WD_BLACK’s 1TB SN850P Heatsink SSD at $179.99 Prime shipped (a $6 delivery fee will apply otherwise). Just be sure to use promo code APPLETEN at checkout to see the discounted price. This drive originally sold for around $150, but SSD pricing has climbed sharply this year, with the 1TB model fetching as much as $300 in recent months. Amazon currently has it listed closer to $240, and Woot is undercutting that price by about $60. Today’s deal also marks a return to the lowest price we first tracked earlier this month following the recent storage price hikes, making this a particularly timely offer if you want to add more room to your PS5 ahead of bigger releases like GTA 6. Head below for more details.

WD_BLACK’s 1TB SN850P is a great SSD to pick up for your PS5 if you’re starting to run out of room. It’s officially licensed for PlayStation, already has a heatsink attached, and is ready to slot straight into the console without any extra parts. The drive is rated for read speeds of up to 7,300MB/s, which means you can keep supported PS5 games installed on it and play them directly from the SSD instead of constantly moving things back and forth. The extra 1TB also goes a long way once your library starts filling up with 100GB-plus games, and with bigger releases like GTA 6 right around the corner, having that extra space is only going to get more useful.

UGREEN’s 1TB NeoDrive portable SSD is also still down to its $200 all-time low if you’re looking for another storage deal to check out. Also, be sure to keep an eye on our gaming accessories hub as well for more discounted gear to upgrade your battlestation.
