Okay, this is our all-time favourite way to spend time outdoors in Dubai. As the weather dips down a few degrees, cycling around Kite Beach pretty much becomes a staple. But what truly makes this romantic is the setting. You’ve got the stunning beach views, a lineup of great food stalls with some beach activities scattered around the beach. You’ll pretty much not be running out of things to do around this part of town. And best part is this makes for the perfect spot to pop a rather serious question, sans the bikes, of course.

Rowing through the Hatta Dam

Here’s an underrated romantic date idea that most often skip out on, but not us. Honestly, half the fun is the drive itself: good music, snacks in hand and enough time to yap about everything and nothing. Ideal if you ask us. But it is the views that makes the drive totally worth it. Hatta being Dubai’s most picturesque nature respite, makes for the perfect date spot – it’s got the scenic views and a little outdoor activity of kayaking. You can pick out individual kayaks or if you’re feeling rather romantic then pick out the one with two seats.

Stroll around Alserkal Avenue

If you and your partner are art lovers then this spot is for you. Alserkal has got a range of rotating galleries, pop ups, workshop studios, cafes that are all guaranteed to keep you entertained for hours on end. Whatever you’re in the mood for that day, you’ll find something to wander into here. And the best part is that you can bring in your fur babies along with you as well.

A picnic at the Love Lake

Seems like a rather obvious call, but the Love Lake in Al Qudra is more than just a cheesy touristy spot, it’s the personification of love. As Dubai’s weather is headed for more cooler temperatures, it just naturally makes sense to head out for a cute-sy picnic date outdoors. Imagine an evening spent soaking up the perfect golden hour while taking in the idyllic views of the scene in front of you. If you’re lucky enough you might spot a few flamingos and swans around you as well.

Who said dates have to be boring? You don’t always need to a reserve a spot at the fanciest table in the city to connect – save those for another day. You can be competitive with your partner and still call it a date – and in this case we are referring to racing around the tracks of Dubai Kartdrome with your significant other.
