Maas’s fae empire has officially teamed up with BrüMate, the insulated tumbler brand continually dropping viral cup designs. The new ACOTAR collab has been teased across BrüMate’s official Instagram, and the news is currently ricocheting around TikTok, Reddit, Facebook, and more.

Here’s what we know, what we’re pretty sure we know, and what remains a mystery.

The collection is real, with confirmation coming from BrüMate’s own Instagram account. According to Reddit and TikTok, Target stores have confirmed the collection arrives on October 2, 2026. That’s this Friday, which means you have very little time to develop a plan and a cover story for your Outlook calendar.

Important to remember: this date has not been confirmed by BrüMate or Target, so treat it as a strong rumor rather than gospel.

Now for the part that feels vaguely illicit. Some shoppers on TikTok say they’ve scored the cups early by asking a Target employee to check the back. The logic is simple: product often arrives at stores well in advance of the launch, and an employee who is feeling generous can occasionally bring a tumbler out into the light. This trick seems to have worked for quite a few TikTok users, but that relies entirely on the integrity of the employee you ask.

Here’s where things get murky. The rumor mill says two designs will be Target exclusives, while more styles may arrive on BrüMate’s website on October 11. If (and it’s a big “if”) that’s true, the Target run is your only shot at the two exclusive designs.
