This request is similar to How to get invoices back? . In 2024, CircleCI moved from Maxio/Chargify to Stripe Billing; during that transition, there may have been issues with PDF attachments.
Fast forward to today, 2026, we got an email that, if implemented, would be two important regressions:
1 “Statements will be accessible via a secure link — rather than receiving a PDF attachment”.
Any serious organization automates invoice management; emails are sent to the company billing address and forwarded by an automation rule to their accounting system. The change to a secure link for invoices would break all those companies’ automation, or at least it would require using an LLM to control a browser bot to get the invoice, which is way more complex.
Please revert; invoices are not sensitive documents. Or at the very least, have an option to opt out. On our side, this change has 0 value.
2 “Billing emails now go to org admins — all billing notifications for your organization will be sent to your org admins (and not the legacy “billing email”) going forward.”
It’s an industry standard to send invoices to the billing email that companies configure. Moving to admin and making this input legacy is a regression too.

If you guys really want to spend focus/time on improving the billing, please solve Allow Configurable Billing Admins | Feature Requests | CircleCI Ideas . We have only 2 GitHub org admins in our setup; we can’t have 5, but we need 5 people on our team to access CircleCI billing.
