New Guidance for Common Hair Loss Disorder

Adults with severe alopecia areata, an autoimmune hair loss disorder that affects more than 7 million people in the US, should primarily be treated with oral Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors, according to a consensus statement published in JAMA Dermatology.
