U.S. Marines with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 369, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing conduct preflight checks prior to the Marine Air-Ground Task Force demonstration of the 2026 Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Air Show in San Diego, Sept. 25, 2026. The MAGTF Demo displays the coordinated use of close-air support, armor, artillery and infantry forces and provides a visual representation of how the Marine Corps operates. The 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing's mission is to provide combat ready expeditionary aviation forces capable of short notice worldwide deployment to Marine Air Ground Task Force, fleet and unified commanders.
