It’s known and loved as one of London’s coolest hangout spots, with its neighbourhood vibe and social lobby spaces making The Hoxton one of the most vibrant stays in every city you find it. And now The Hoxton is officially coming to Dubai.

Making its Middle Eastern debut in Dubai Media City, it will transform an existing property within Select Group’s portfolio into a 230-room stay. Built on the idea of community-driven hospitality, vibrant social spaces and neighbourhood-inspired design, The Hoxton, Dubai Media City will serve as both an incubator and spotlight for Dubai’s growing creative community.

Although a timeline wasn’t given, The Hoxton’s parent comapny Ennismore will have its interior design team AIME Studios undertake a multi-million dirham transformation of the Media City building to reimagine it into The Hoxton Dubai Media City.

While the homely lobby space and Tope, the brand’s signature rooftop bar found its locations in Barcelona, Brussles and Portland will be familiar favourites for fans of the brand, the Dubai hotel will feature a global first wellness concept. A social hub in its own right, it promises an inclusive, sociable programme of fitness and wellbeing for hotel guests and residents, featuring a large gym floor, movement studios, spa treatment rooms, contrast therapy and a members lounge. All facilities will echo the welcoming, residential style that defines Hoxton properties worldwide.

Beyond that, a duo of brand-new culinary concepts will bring new flavours to Media City. First up is Onka, a Japanese hand roll bar created in collaboration with Moïse Sfez, the award-winning French restaurateur. Foodies will also be able to get their fix at Il Bambini Club, a lively trattoria from the Ennismore-owned Paris Society, tasked with curating the full culinary line-up.

The Hoxton began life in London’s Shoreditch district some 25 years ago, and since then has expanded to 19 open-house hotels across cities including Rome, Brussels, Chicago, Dublin and Edinburgh. We can’t wait to see it come to life in Dubai.
