СпутникиРНSpaceXРоскосмосNASAThere are different conventions for implementing Object Snaps.Some like you prefer to set all of the Object Snaps (but not Nearest because that would be dangerous) which is called Running Object Snaps in advance before drawing anything.Some may prefer to set only a few of the most commonly used Object Snaps like:Then there are still those like me who prefer to not set any but select them as needed:Shift + Right Mouse Click to bring up the Object Snap cursor menuOr display the Object Snaps Toolbar and click on the one desired:Command: -TOOLBAREnter toolbar name or [ALL]: TB_OBJECT_SNAPEnter an option [Show/Hide/Left/Right/Top/Bottom/Float] <Show>: Show If you continue to prefer to use Running Object Snaps, know that you may have to toggle it off by hitting the F3 key so AutoCAD won't accidentally snap to an object when you don't want it to which may be causing you the problem you're encountering. You can always then hit the F3 key again to toggle them back on. Also, while drawing with Running Object Snaps hit the Tab key on the keyboard to toggle between different Object Snaps As for Layer 0, I tend to just keep temporary objects I draw on that layer. Otherwise objects are typically placed on their proper layers. Hope the above answers your questions.
