For many families, a trip to LaplandUK has become an essential Christmas activity during the festive period. 

Hosted in Manchester and Ascot, the immersive experience has attracted high-profile guests over the years including Prince William, Sir Elton John and the Beckhams. 

As one of the most highly anticipated events in the festive season calendar, it's often quite a battle to get your hands on tickets. 

At midday today, booking opens for the final batch of tickets – so be prepared!

But with such popularity, naturally, comes a price tag to match. 

Last year, a record-breaking 750,000 people joined the virtual queue which saw them sell out within hours.

Prices range from £60 to £155 – reaching the top end for weekends in December – and those who manage to secure bookings will receive freezable personalised invitations to start the magic. 

For four people, that could mean spending as much as £600, with some parents reporting such astronomical costs last winter.

This year, the experience will take place from November 7 to December 24. 

Beyond the ticket frenzy, there is plenty to enjoy at LaplandUK.

LaplandUK is a time-honoured reimagining and extension of the Christmas story.

It features Father Christmas in an arctic homeland, complete with 31 unique characters, brought to life by a cast of West End performers and a Hollywood-grade production. 

Guests travel through secret woodland portals into a snow-covered landscape filled with hundreds of Elves, a frozen ice rink, twinkling lights, the Lapland Bakery and the Toy Factory.

Children will be able to take part in creating their own magical reindeer food with the Elves – a take-home element designed to extend the experience into Christmas Eve. 

Guests will have significantly more time to explore this year, from ice skating to letter writing, with a greater sense of freedom within the world. 

Voted the UK’s best tourist attraction in 2022, LaplandUK has welcomed over 1 million families since first opening in 2007, with guests from 55 different countries visiting just last year.
