MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, US — The Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) is now offering an online course, Introduction to Grain Quality Management, which explores decisions and their impact on grain quality management, best practices used throughout the process and profitability impact case scenarios.

The course is designed specifically for new and emerging supervisors responsible for maintaining grain quality in storage facilities. The course helps learners understand the “why” behind grain quality, including insights needed to protect product value, reduce risk, and support operational success.

Participants will be able to identify the main components and criteria of grain quality and management activities; explore best practices for grain quality management; and assess grain and the environment and determine appropriate actions.

Estimated time for the course is five hours. Cost is $495 for GEAPS members and $795 for non-members.

The course counts toward the Credential in Grain Operations Management (CGOM) GEAPS Credential.
