Residents are invited to honor and remember loved ones. They can do that by participating in the Libraries Dia de Los Muertos Community Ofrenda at the Library on North Imperial Avenue. Community members are encouraged to bring a photograph, framed, and no larger than 4 inches by six inches, of a loved one who has passed. The library will collect the photographs from October 5-9, and the photographs will be respectfully placed on the community ofrenda. The ofrenda will remain on display throughout October, to November 2, giving residents an opportunity to visit, reflect and take part in the Dia de Los Muertos tradition. The Community Ofrenda will be available for viewing during regular Library hours. Monday through Thursday, 10 am to 7 pm. Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.
