Fall is BACK, baby! And I couldn't be happier. The changing leaves, the fashion, the pumpkin everything! This sh*t is IN MY BLOOD! But this year will be a little different. My husband and I just moved to Italy, far from the typical Toronto fall. And honestly, not wearing knee-high boots and scarves or drinking a pumpkin spice latte on September 1st is kind of messing with me. So I guess I have to learn quickly what they do celebrate during an Italian autumn and supplement as best I can. Still, I can't wait!
So, I thought we'd kick off September with a little science-y trivia moment. Why leaves change colours, what actually happens when animals hibernate, and all the other weird science behind our favourite season — do you actually know how that all works? Time to find out...
