Police detained students during a protest over alleged irregularities in the DUSU election process. NSUI National President Vinod Jakhar said the party lost the elections by a narrow margin and would review organizational issues. He also alleged attempts to obstruct NSUI and irregularities during polling. Presidential candidate Vijay Shankar Meena alleged bogus voting and said the matter would be taken to court. Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit said the alleged malpractice during polling and counting, along with the narrow margins, should be examined.
