MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. The Kiev regime is doing everything to ensure that there is no peace and no negotiations with Russia, President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting of the Military·Industrial Commission.

The Russian leader said that the Ukrainian army has recently committed another crime — they struck the house of Yelena Ostanina, head of the precinct election commission in the village of Oktyabrskoye, Zaporozhye Region, and killed her.

"Representatives of the Kiev regime, the leadership in Kiev, are talking about peace and are proposing to resume negotiations, supposedly. Well, they themselves, by committing crimes of this kind, are doing everything to ensure that there is no peace and no negotiations," Putin said.
