LUGANSK, September 19. /TASS/. Russian troops have secured new positions in two sectors to the southeast and east of Druzhkovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) over the past few days, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

According to him, the Russian army is demonstrating "positive dynamics" in its advance within the Druzhkovka sector.

"Over the last few days, our servicemen operated more actively southeast and east of Druzhkovka, achieving certain successes. According to my information, our troops have secured new lines and positions there," he said.

On September 14, Marochko told TASS that Russian forces were enveloping Druzhkovka from the east and west while pushing Ukrainian troops out of positions south of the city.
