Com2uS is working with the Ministry of Employment and Labor to train talent in game quality assurance (QA), with a focus on practical skills. The program aims to develop job-ready professionals through projects involving working QA mentors and integrated software and game QA training.

​Com2uS said Aug. 13 that it had launched the “Com2uS-Elice Practical Game QA Boot Camp” with digital education platform Elice.

​The program is part of the K-Digital Training initiative organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. It was designed to improve the practical capabilities of job seekers seeking careers in QA and identify qualified talent at an early stage.

​The boot camp began Aug. 3 and will run online for 16 weeks through Dec. 7. The program offers training in software QA automation processes, practical projects based on mentoring from Com2uS’s working QA professionals, and lectures from industry practitioners.

​The core program is the eight-week “Practical Game QA Project With Com2uS’s Working QA Team.” Participants select a game and carry out the full process, from writing a reverse-design document to test verification and proposals for improvements.

​Working QA mentors provide feedback to each group and help participants complete practical portfolios that can be used in the workplace.

​The program also includes an integrated curriculum covering both software and game QA. Participants learn basic testing methods as well as how to use development collaboration tools such as Jira and Git. The course also covers test automation, concepts for establishing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and QA techniques tailored to the characteristics of game play.

​Tuition is fully covered by government funding, and training incentives will also be provided. Real-time question-and-answer channels and practical guides from industry professionals will support students without technical backgrounds and beginners. Top-performing graduates will be offered recruitment-linked benefits when applying for relevant positions.

​Through the boot camp, Com2uS plans to develop QA professionals with practical industry skills, expand opportunities to identify promising talent, and strengthen the competitiveness of its game services.
